David H. Price, L. Ac., M.O.M., B.A. has had a lifelong interest in Asian culture. After graduating from Pomona College with a degree in Asian Studies, he spent 6 years in Japan where he taught himself Japanese and passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Exam. Returning home to New Mexico, Mr. Price began a four-year master's program in Chinese medicine at the International Institute of Chinese Medicine. In 2000, he traveled to China for advanced training at the Chengdu University of TCM and received his master's later that year.
After getting licensed in 2001, Mr. Price began an active 16-year clinical career. Not only a busy clinician, his experience of teaching more than 28 different courses with over 5,000 hours of classroom time makes him one of the most seasoned teachers in the Chinese medicine field. He also participates in the accreditation process for Chinese medicine graduate schools and has had translations of Chinese medical material published online.
